1.北風災關懷併Tending to flood victims

First up in today”s show, Typhoon Saola left a trail of destruction in Taiwan last week, particularly in the north and east coast of the island. After the storm passed, Tzu Chi volunteers handed out hot meals to residents in Taipei”s Wenshan (文山) District as well as Hsinchu (新竹)”s Hushan (虎山) Borough and helped clean up their homes.

節目首先來看蘇拉颱風於上周在台灣造成嚴重災情，尤其以北部和東台灣為嚴重，風災過後，慈濟志工發放熱食給台北文山區，還有新竹虎山里的居民，也為他們清掃環境。

2.水往何處流(5)Yunlin”s low lying problem

In Taiwan”s Yunlin (雲林) County, every hard rain brings flood and misery for residents. The problem is that Yunlin (雲林) has been pumping out ground water for commercial and residential use since 1958. As Yunlin”s (雲林) ground sinkage has continued to worsen, experts and government officials are working hard to figure out ways to ensure that water remains accessible for Yunlin”s many farmers and industries, while not threatening the county”s way of life.

雲林沿海低漥地區，幾乎是每逢大雨必淹水，問題癥結在於雲林從1958年起，開始抽取地下水作為商用或民用用水，全雲林地層下陷問題嚴重，專家和官員迫切尋求解決方案，期望讓當地農夫與產業獲得足夠用水，同時確保雲林人的安危。

3.北京生活包Helping flood victims

For the past week, Tzu Chi volunteers in China have been working hard to deliver relief items to flood victims in Beijing. To help the needy, big corporations also donated many aid supplies. Recently RT-MART once again donated 8,600 relief packs to the Tzu Chi Retreat in Qilizhuang (七裏莊) of FengTai (豐台) District. Let”s take a look.

過去幾周，中國慈濟志工馬不停蹄送物資幫助北京的災民，為了幫助鄉親，許多大企業也響應愛心，最近大潤發又再度捐贈8600個賑災生活包到豐台七裏莊的慈濟共修處，讓我們來看看。

4.書軒心靈燈塔Changing people”s lives

As we celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Jing Si Books and Cafe, we learn from many customers, how the bookstore has helped them overcome their difficulties in life, and the wisdom they have gained. First we meet Wu Ruihuang(吳瑞煌), who shares with us, how he found value and purpose in life at the bookstore.

隨著我們慶祝靜思書軒十周年，要帶您看看書軒是如何幫助許多顧客走過生命的低潮，並從中獲得許多智慧，首先我們來認識常客，吳瑞煌，他跟我們分享，在這裡他如何找回生命的價值與意義。

5.書軒傳馨香A dedicate employee

As the Jing Si Books and Cafe have attracted many young people. Today we look at the story of employee Guo Boheng (郭柏亨). 10 years ago, he decided to dedicate his time to the store, and vowed to introduce the goodness of Tzu Chi to everyone. Now 10 years later, he continues to be a happy employee at the bookstore.

靜思書軒的魅力連時下年輕人也難擋，今天我們來看看靜思書軒員工郭柏亨的故事，十年前他決定將時間奉獻給書軒，也發願要將慈濟的美好介紹給更多人，現在十年過去了，他秉持這個精神，繼續在書軒當個快樂員工。

6.美靜思生活館(1)A symbol for environmental protection

In San Diego, California of the United States, 70 to 80 percent of the population are Caucasian, and it was here that Tzu Chi opened the first Jing Si Books and Cafe aimed at non-Chinese speakers. Situated in the first man-made green area in the US, the Jing Si Books and Cafe has become a symbol for environmental protection and change.

美國聖地牙哥，百分之七十到八十都是白人社會，在這個地方慈濟開設了全美第一家靜思生活館，聖地牙哥是全美第一個有計畫性建設的綠色市區，靜思生活館也成為整個社區轉型的動力之一，一同為推廣環保努力。

7.大愛獎人物Award ceremony honoring parents

At the 15th annual Mercy Love ceremony, honoring parents for their dedication in raising their physically challenged children, we see how parents face diversity and how they encourage their children to leave behind the stereotypes that society has placed on them.

在第十五屆大愛獎，表揚身心障礙者的尊親，默默付出跟樂觀的養育之情，讓這些身障者不只能走出陰霾，更成為一位優秀的人。
