1.美冬令發放併+湖北通山冬令

We kick off today`s program in China; as Tzu Chi volunteers continue to distribute winter aid supplies to elderly residents in Hubei(湖北) Province. And, on the other side of the planet, in the United States, volunteers in Nevada, act as Santa Claus, bringing children gifts for the coming Christmas holidays.

今天一開始來到中國，慈濟志工繼續在湖北舉辦發放，還有地球的另一端，在美國的內華達州，慈濟志工帶替耶誕老公公，帶禮物給學生們。


2.北加人文義賣

In the United States, students and parents at the Tzu Chi San Jose Academy, continue to raise funds for Hurricane Sandy survivors, with students giving up their pocket money and, one parent even donating 20 cheese pizzas for the fundraising efforts.

在美國，北加州聖荷西人文學校師生，持續發起捐款活動，要幫助美東風災的災民，學生也捐出自己的零用錢，其中一位孩子的家長，還捐出店裡販賣的20個比薩作為義賣。


3.加總理頒獎

As 2012 marks the 60th anniversary of the ac-cession of Queen Elizabeth II, countries within the Commonwealth of Nations held events to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee. Following the tradition, a Diamond Jubilee medal is being awarded in Canada and other Commonwealth nations. To thank the selfless dedication of the Tzu Chi Foundation over the past 20 years, the Canada Government awarded the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal to Tzu Chi.

2012年是英國女王，伊麗莎白二世登基60周年，大英國協各國展開鑽禧慶典，根據傳統，加拿大和其他大英國協國家，會頒發獎章，為了感謝慈濟20年來無私的付出，加拿大政府頒發給慈濟，英女王登基六十年鑽禧獎章。


4.人醫往診之約

Here in Taiwan`s Chiayi (嘉義), Mr. Huang, was afraid of seeking treatment for the wounds on his legs, as he could not afford the expensive transportation and medical costs. Thankfully, the arrival of TIMA doctors gave him a ray of hope. And with the help of TIMA doctors, Grandma Yang(楊), who never fully recovered from her stroke, was shown the correct way to carry out her rehabilitation.

在台灣嘉義有位黃先生，因為擔心車資與醫藥費，腿上的傷口遲遲沒有就醫，當人醫會醫師來訪時，給了他一線曙光，還有一位楊阿嬤，中風後病情沒改善，好在人醫會醫師，教導阿嬤正確做復健。

5.喜出網外(四)成功戒網癮

Today, in our continuing series on Internet addiction, we meet graduate student Weng Yuxiang.(翁鈺翔) Weng(翁) was formally addicted to internet games for nearly 7 years, but has now successful turned, what was once an addiction, into an occasional hobby. He says, the key to leaving his addiction behind, was finding an activity and interest. Let`s now take a look at the world he once lived in, and how he was finally able to leave it all behind.

今天「喜出網外」專題報導，要帶您認識研究生翁鈺翔，他曾經網路成癮長達七年，他說遠離網癮的關鍵是，他找到了比電玩來有趣的事情，一起來看看他曾沉迷的世界，以及他如何戒掉網癮。


6.做環保平喪子痛

Staying in Taiwan, in Tainan, Xu Mingshen(許明生) and Cai Lizhu (蔡麗珠) met Tzu Chi, when their son was hospitalized at the Dalin(大林) Tzu Chi General Hospital, and during that time, the family experienced the love and care of the medical staff and Tzu Chi volunteers. After their son passed away, the couple dedicated themselves to recycling, as a way to reciprocate Tzu Chi`s kindness. The family has now become more harmonious and the couple`s daughter has even decided to follow in their footsteps.

在台南有一對夫妻，蔡麗珠與許明生，他們在兒子生病住在大林慈濟醫院時，感受到醫護人員，和慈濟志工的溫情與關懷，兒子往生後，他們積極投入環保，家裏也變得和睦，這對夫妻的女兒也跟隨著父母腳步一同做環保。


【 衲履足跡 】談環保 On Recycling

To save the planet from being severely damaged, it is necessary to practice conservation work, and recycle and reuse all items.

Despite the low revenue, recycling work is not about making money, but devoting ourselves wholeheartedly to safeguard Mother Earth.

希望地球平安，就要力行環保；地球已經受傷嚴重，要認真保護，將丟棄的物品回收再製。雖然價格低廉，但是做回收不是為了變賣，而是真心誠意為了保護地球而做。


7.360配音員

In Taiwan, when we turn on the TV, we have a variety of channels to choose from, with several of them showing cartoons or movies from abroad. However these films or cartoons all need to be first narrated in our language, before they are ready to be broadcast. In today`s feature report on Taiwan`s fading industries, we meet two voice narrators who are responsible for voicing a variety of cartoon characters, including Doraemon and Crayon Shin-Chan. Let`s take a look.

在台灣，每當我們打開電視，就有許多節目可以欣賞，當中也有許多國外的卡通與影片，而這些影片通常都要先，透過配音員製作成中文才能播放，在今天的真情臉譜專題，我們來認識兩位資深配音員，您所認識的多啦A夢，還有蠟筆小新都是他們配音的，讓我們一起來看看。


8.進補反效果

Traditionally, Taiwanese residents will drink herbal tonics during the cold weather, to keep warm and as a dietary supplement. Stores that sell ginger duck soup and lamb hot-pot are especially popular. However, a senior in Taichung City was sent to the hospital, after drinking two bowls of ginger duck soup. Doctors say, that these soup contains a large amount of sodium, and thus are harmful to those with chronic disease. Healthy residents should also watch their sodium intake and realize that, one bowl of herbal tonic per meal is more than enough.

很多台灣民眾都會冬令進補，來幫助保暖和保養身體，坊間販賣薑母鴨，羊肉爐的進補店面，生意興隆，但是台中一名腎臟病患，因此連喝了兩碗薑母鴨湯，想不到整個人腫脹起來，醫師說，補湯內含有高鈉，對於慢性病患者，負擔很大不宜進補，而健康的國人的鈉，不用刻意進補，每餐一碗就足夠了。


9.南港歲末推素

As Tzu Chi continues to hold its year-end blessing ceremonies throughout Taiwan, the Tzu Chi Taipei Eastern District Liaison Office held its year-end blessing ceremony on December 16th. To ensure the participants all had a good time, Tzu Chi volunteer Lin Shuhui (林淑惠) poured her heart and soul into decorating the venue.

歲末祝福繼續在台灣展開，而台北東區聯絡處，在12月16號，舉辦歲末祝福，而為了讓民眾度過，愉快時光，慈濟志工 林淑惠，在現場的布置，下足苦心。


10.信義二手義賣

Also in Taipei City, the Xichun(西村) Borough head of Xinyi District (信義區) invited Tzu Chi volunteers to take part in a second-hand charity sale on December 8th, in which the proceeds went to various charity organizations.

在台灣台北市，信義區西村里的里長，在12月8號，邀請慈濟志工參與一場，二手商品的義賣會，而義賣會所得，也全部捐贈給慈善機構。

After Thailand experienced severe flooding last year, Tzu Chi volunteers organized hot meal distributions in Banplab Township of Ayutthaya Province. At the end of this year, volunteers once again visited the township, bringing 20kilo bag of rice to every care recipient and seniors above 60 years of age. We will leave you with these images.
