●Coming up in today`s show, months after Hurricane Sandy, US Tzu Chi volunteers continue to hand out cash cards, to those who have yet to receive help.

●We learn the inspiring story of Yang Yunzhi(楊昀芝), who after becoming blind last year, is returning to her school to teach Chinese once again.

●And, we see how Tzu Chi`s years of charity work is helping improve the living conditions of the needy in Guizhou(貴州), China.

1.紐約再發放

Three months after Hurricane Sandy left a trail of destruction, on the East Coast of the United States, Tzu Chi continues its relief work to help those affected by the storm. This time, on January 26th, volunteers arrived in Brighton Beach of New York, to distribute cash cards to illegal migrants who have not received any assistance so far.

桑迪風災三個月後，在美國東岸，慈濟志工持續援助，幫助受災區的災民，這一次1月26日，志工來到紐約布萊頓海灘社區，發放現值卡，給那些還沒受到幫助的，沒有正式身分的移民。


2.巴生華裔發放

In Malaysia, as Chinese Lunar New Year approaches, the Tzu Chi Klang Branch held a reunion banquet and year-end distribution for their care recipients, where volunteers also organized a series of festive performances.

中國新年即將到來，馬來西亞慈濟巴生之會，為照顧戶舉辦了，歲末發放和圍爐，活動上 志工更規畫了許多活動。


3.麻坡歲末發放

Staying in Malaysia, the Tzu Chi Muar Branch has been holding year-end aid distributions each year since 2003. This year, Tzu Chi volunteers invited 66 families to join the event, and New Shoots Scholarship recipients also put on a dance for the participants.

也是馬來西亞的報導，自2003年起，慈濟麻坡支會，開始固定舉辦歲末發放，今年的歲末發放，共66戶照顧戶齊聚一堂，新芽獎學金的受助學生，也為歲末發放排練舞蹈。

4.愛的朗讀(3)最珍貴的禮物

A Chinese teacher at Yilan`s(宜蘭) Luodong(羅東) Middle School, Yang Yunzhi(楊昀芝), suffered from optic nerve atrophy and began to lose her eyesight last year. Going from being able to see the world around her, to completely losing her vision was not easy for Yang. Yet, with the love of her family and help from the staff at the Mukuang(慕光) Rehabilitation Center for the Blind, Yang not only returned to school to teach once again, but is also sharing her life story to inspire her students.

宜蘭羅東國中的國文老師 楊昀芝，去年因為視神經萎縮，慢慢失明，從可以看見世界到看不到，昀芝一度相當徬徨無助，但在家人、孩子的關愛，以及慕光盲人重建中心，老師幫助之下，昀芝不只回到學校教書，也許學生分享人生故事，希望藉此啟發他們。


5.楊家妤轉念

Changing our mindset will help us look at life differently, and another person who has managed to do that is Taichung Tzu Chi volunteer, Yang Jiayu(楊家妤). After watching Da Ai TV and Master Cheng Yen`s teachings, Yang was able to let go of her hatred for her ex-husband. Let`s take a look.

心念一轉，世界就會不一樣，還有這樣想法的人，就是住在台中市北屯區，慈濟人楊家妤，收看大愛台，聽了上人的話後，放下對前夫的怨恨情緒，一起來看看。


《 衲履足跡 》談佛心 On Buddha Nature

Although the world is full of pitfalls and calamities, Tzu Chi volunteers resolutely walk among it, spreading the Dharma in accordance with circumstances. Unsullied by the world, as Bodhisattvas volunteers rely on a heart of purity and courage and patience to overcome the endless difficulties encountered and save all living beings.

雖然人生充滿陷阱，天災、人禍不斷，可是菩薩要以毅力入人群，觀機逗教，向人群弘法，且心不受染著，還具有赤子心、勇猛心、耐心，才能克服重重困難拯救人生。


6.愛在黔縣(2)慈濟愛蔓延

In China`s Guizhou(貴州), Tzu Chi began its charity work in the year of 2000, to help local residents who lived on the outskirts of society, through holding regular aid distributions, and also building Da Ai Villages. In today`s report on ”Spreading Love in Guizhou,” We take a look at how having a stable place to call home, is a jumping ground for residents of the Da Ai Villages.

在中國貴州，慈濟志工從2000年起開始，透過定期發放，還有興建大愛村，幫助住在社會邊緣，貧困地區的居民，今天愛在黔縣的專題中，帶大家看看，住在大愛村的居民，是如何走出大山。


7.慈青大愛農場

Here in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, situated alongside the recycling station in Niaosong(鳥松) District is the Da Ai Farm, where participants from the recent Tzu Ching Intro-ductory Seminar, got to experience the life of a farmer. Here`s more.

在台灣高雄，位於在鳥松環保站旁，是大愛農場，慈青生活營學員，也到此體驗農夫生活，一起來看看。


8.越南痲瘋捐贈

Moving to Vietnam, on January 27th, Tzu Chi volunteers brought 20 tailored-made wheelchairs for lep-rosy patients. Tzu Chi volunteers discussed the details with a wheelchair manufacturer, hoping to provide them with a model that will best suit their needs.

轉到越南，在一月27日，越南慈濟志工，送20部手搖式輪椅給痲瘋病患，慈濟志工與輪椅廠商，討論設計細節，希望為他們，提供最合適的輪椅。


9.瓜國助學家訪

As a new school year is about to begin for students in Guatemala, Tzu Chi volunteers carried out home visitations in Pa-len-cia and San Jose Pi-nu-la, in hopes of encouraging children from poor families to continue with their schooling and receive proper education.

新學年即將開始，瓜地馬拉慈濟志工，前往佩勒西亞市聖荷西，比奴拉市的貧困村莊，進行訪視，希望協助學齡兒童，繼續學習，能夠上學，受教育。
