1.墨訪視發放 US volunteers visit La Joya, Leon

In Mexico, Tzu Chi volunteers teamed up with a Catholic church in Leon, and starting in November of 2011, have been providing meal service once a month, for the impoverished residents, of La Joya. Recently, US Tzu Chi volunteers visited the town, to check up on the residents.

墨西哥慈濟志工,與里昂市一所教會食堂合作,從2011年11月開始,每個月一次為拉荷亞山區,貧困家庭提供熱食,最近,美國慈濟志工,特地前往山區訪視關懷。


2.泰社區志工班 Growing Tzu Chi presence

Moving to Thailand, following the massive flooding at the end of 2011, Tzu Chi volunteers put together, a work-relief program, that helped residents clean up their communities. Now that the worst of the damage, has been taken care of, volunteers in Nak-hon Pathom, are shifting their attention, to the promotion of recycling, and getting more local residents to join Tzu Chi.

轉到泰國,2011年底,泰國發生嚴重水患,當時志工發起以工代賑,清理家園的行動,水患結束後,佛統府志工開始推動環保,讓更多民眾加入志工行列。


3.書軒小志工培訓 Training young volunteers

In Taiwan`s Taipei, a training workshop for young volunteers, of Jing Si Books and Cafe, was held on June 2nd. In this workshop, staff members test young volunteers` understanding of Jing Si products, and encouraged them to continue their efforts, in learning Jing Si Aphorisms.

在台灣的台北 6月2號,舉辦了靜思書軒,小志工的培訓課程,書軒工作人員利用分組競賽,測驗小志工對靜思產品的了解,並且鼓勵他們繼續,精進學習靜思語。

4.王昊案反思 Protecting childrens` rights

In 2011, a horrible child abuse case in New Taipei City,Taiwan, shocked the country, and led to the Child Protection Law: Article 54-1. Here`s the story of Wang Hao(王昊).

2011年新北市,發生了一起震驚社會的虐童案件,因而催生出兒少法54條之一,一起來看看,王昊的故事。


5.日慈青五省 Promoting environmentalism

In Japan, local Tzu Chings organized a campaign, to promote environmentalism, at a Tzu Chi Chinese class. They not only designed props to spark the children`s interests, but also created catchy slogans, to help the adults, remember the practice of energy conservation, and carbon reduction.

日本慈青,向慈濟中文班推廣環保理念,特地製作道具,吸引小朋友們的注意,也利用口訣,讓大人容易記住,在生活中落實節能減碳。

6.巴淡慈青環保 First recycling experience

In Batam, Indonesia, under the invitation of Tzu Chings, a group of youngsters, recently volunteered at the local recycling station, to learn how to sort recyclables. This experience proved to be rewarding, as the youngsters, learned how to reduce, re-use and recycle.

在印尼巴淡,有一群年輕人到環保站裡當志工,學習資源分類,這一趟環保行,大家收穫滿滿,也了解廢物再生利用,更愛護地球。


7.馬孫福廉環保 Recycling volunteer, Sun Fulian

In Malaysia, volunteer Sun Fulian(孫福廉) lost his wife in a car accident in 2008. Be-reaved with sadness, it wasn`t until hearing Master Cheng Yen`s teachings on Da Ai TV , that he finally came to terms, with his wife`s death. Since then, Sun has devoted himself wholeheartedly, to practicing recycling.

在馬來西亞,志工孫福廉,在2008年的一場車禍痛失妻子,無法釋懷的他,直到透過大愛台,聽到證嚴上人的開示,才走出喪妻之痛,之後,他便積極參與環保。


《 衲履足跡 》談立定志向

處於道德觀念模糊的時代,更需要確立理念與志向;莫受困於逆境,就停滯、放棄。人事皆難盡己心意,辛苦難免,若能導正方向偏差的人,一切就值得了。


8.消失的書店(4) Independent bookstores

Next, we meet independent bookstores` owners Wang Lipineg(王麗萍) and Liao Yingliang(廖英良), and take a look, at how the two, use their own ways, to help the general public, adopt better reading habits, and spread humanistic values far and wide, in their local communities.


接著,我們來認識,獨立書店老闆王麗萍和廖英良,來看看這兩個人,如何用自己的方式,提升民眾的閱讀水平,以及讓文化在社區扎根。


9.土角厝愛心變身 Incredible makeover!

Li Chenghan(李承翰), an architecture major of Tamkang(淡江) University, recently finished a makeover, for a run-down home in Sanzhi(三芝) District of new Taipei City, as he hopes to do something special for his graduation presentation. However, the project turned out to be more than just a simple renovation.

淡江大學建築系的李承翰,想要做一個不一樣的畢業作品,因此特地跑到偏遠的,新北市三芝區,找到一棟破舊的房子,翻修這棟老房子,但是這件企劃卻變成,不是只有整修這麼簡單。

10.創意行善 A charity fashion show

In Taiwan`s Taichung(台中) City,marketing majors at Feng Chia(逢甲) University, recently organized a charity fashion show, in which they modelled and showcased their very own designs.Teachers and students were invited to attend the show, and a portions of proceeds from the event, will be donated to Tzu Chi.

台灣台中逢甲大學,行銷學系學生,最近舉行一場時尚服裝秀,穿著自己設計的衣服,走上舞台校內老師同學們來觀賞,而義賣後部份所得將捐給慈濟。
