1.菲火災以工代賑 Tending to fire victims

First up in the Philippines; on the first day of March, a fire in Barangay Ba-gum-bu-hay of Quezon City, destroyed some 40 houses and left 58 families without roof over their heads. Upon learning of their plight, Tzu Chi volunteers arrived immediately to carry out a disaster survey and returned the next day to set up a relief work program to help these residents clean up their homes.

節目的一開始來到菲律賓，三月的第一天，在計順市，巴根卜海里發生大火，燒毀四十間房屋，讓五十八戶無家可歸，得知消息之後，慈濟志工立刻前往勘災，隔天回來成立以工代賑，協助鄉親清掃家園。


2.印水災泡麵 Tzu Chi returns with more aid

Moving to Indoneisa, after the January flooding in Jakarta, Tzu Chi arrived with aid and support for the flood victims. When the floodwaters finally subsided in March, volunteers returned once again to the low-lying community of Te-luk Gong, to check up on residents. Finding that many of the residents were still living in poverty following the floods, volunteers donated over 4,800 boxes of vegetarian instant noodles.

印尼雅加達在一月時，發生大水患，慈濟志工即時的送來物資與關懷，在三月，大水褪去時，志工更進一步探訪，地勢較低的德勒宮，發現災民生活貧困，因此發放四千八百多箱的素食麵。


3.美再發現值卡 Helping those in greater need

In the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, US Tzu Chi volunteers continued their effort in helping those living on the fringes of society. On March 9th, the New York Tzu Chi Chapter and the Shorefront Y of Brighton Beach, held a joint distribution to hand out cash cards to 220 households, who were mostly illegal immigrants that were not qualified for government subsides.

桑迪風災過後，美國慈濟志工，持續幫助那些住在社會邊緣的民眾，3月9日，紐約慈濟分會和布萊頓前岸青年會，聯手舉辦發放，發出現值卡給220戶災民，許多民眾因為是非法移民，因此得不到政府的補助。

4.0310金中江櫻梅 Spreading a message

As Jinshan(金山) District in New Taipei City, is situated in between two nuclear power plants, Jiang Yingmei(江櫻梅), a teacher from Jinshan(金山) High School, who was born and raised in the area, has always been concerned about nuclear safety. The trio disasters in Japan inspired Jiang, to take actions in her school, by holding seminars and exhibitions to pass on information on nuclear energy to local residents.

新北市金山地區位於，兩座核電廠之間，在金山高中任教的江櫻梅老師就是其中一人，原本就默默關心起核能，卻在日本海嘯後主動，從學校帶起核安意識，在主題書展中結合，關於核能的演講。


5.印住宅區環保 Recycling for the future

Back to Indonesia, the capital of Jakarta produces some 6,500 tons of garbage a day. As recycling is still a new concept for many, garbage is seldomly separated and often carelessly thrown on the streets. Over the past few years, Cengkareng Tzu Chi volunteers have been working to educate the residents on the importance of recycling.

印尼首都雅加達，每天產生6500公噸的垃圾，由於當地環保觀念不普及，民眾時常把垃圾隨地亂丟，慢慢教導正確環保概念，是金卡蓮的一群環保志工，幾年前就在社區，進行環保分類。


6.菲學生參訪 Field trip to recycling station

In the Philippines, students from the University of San-to To-mas High School, visited a recycling station in Manila, where they put what they have learned in class into practice. Such a field trip gave the students, a better understanding on how to safeguard the environment.

在菲律賓，聖托瑪斯大學，中學部的學生，來到慈濟大愛校園的環保站，將在課堂學到的知識，透過實際操作再複習一遍，讓學生對環保有更深的認識。


《 衲履足跡 》談善念啟發 On Arousing Good Thoughts

Once we arouse a mind of good thoughts, we will no longer be able to stand idly by while others suffer. We will naturally find it in ourselves to create a field of blessings. Besides cultivating our inner garden, we also need to lead others onto the Bodhisattva path so that all may work towards a world of blessings.

善念一旦啟發，自然不忍眾生受苦，而能以愛心勤耕福田；除了精進耕耘自己內心的福田，還要設法輔導他人、廣招人間菩薩 一同耕耘人間福田。


7.新衣的祕密(2)平價衣檢驗 Quality of imported clothing

Regardless of whether the clothes we purchase are branded or not, it is difficult to judge whether they contain harmful chemicals or not. Today, over 70 percent of Taiwan`s garments are imported from Asian countries with low production costs, and as for the quality of this imported clothing, no one really knows the answers? Our Da Ai TV reporter purchased garments manufactured in China and Korea, from a wholesale market in Taipei, and conducted tests on the clothing, where each came back positive for no-nyl-phe-nol and plas-ti-ci-zers. Let`s take a look.

不管衣服有沒有牌子，我們都很難判斷，上面到底有沒有殘留，有毒的化學物質，台灣現在七成以上成衣，都是從工資低廉的亞洲進口，衣服品質由誰幫我們把關，我們的記者在批發市場，隨機購買了幾件，分別產自中國大陸，以及韓國的衣服，經過實驗室檢測發現，這或多或少，都殘留壬基酚還有塑化劑，讓我們一起來看看。


8.肩頸痠痛年輕化 Modern aches and pains

We`ll have more on the truth behind fashion for you in our report tomorrow. Back to today; it`s rare nowadays to find someone who doesn`t own a smart phone or a tablet computer. With it, comes an ever spreading problem of stiff necks and back pains, for those who excessively stare down at their phones all day. Many will deal with the pain by rolling their heads in a circle, however experts inform that doing this might be more harmful than helpful. Here`s more.
