1.菲嘉年華慈濟車 TC invited to Sorteo Festival

In the Philippines, the Sor-teo Festival, is held every 3 years, in Ca-mona of Ca-vite Province. This year, Tzu Chi was invited to attend the event. Tzu Chi volunteers used recyclables, to decorate the Tzu Chi float, taking the opportunity to promote recycling as well. And, at the conclusion of the festival, Tzu Chi volunteers took the lead, and began carrying out regular recycling work, within communities.

菲律賓的甲美地省卡莫納市，每三年會舉一次嘉年華慶典，今年慈濟也受邀請參加，志工利用回收資源，裝飾慈濟花車，也藉此宣導環保，同時也在慶典過後，開始在卡莫納市的社區裡，推動資源回收工作。


2.菲眼疾安頓紐 Treating eye problem

Also in the Philippines, local volunteer Antonio Guzman, has been volunteering, at the Tzu Chi Free Clinic Center, for the past 5 years. However, the volunteer faced an en-tro-pi-on eye problem, and was not until Guzman was in extreme pain, that he finally decided to receive surgery. Moved by the love and support, his fellow volunteers shown to him, Guzman vows to continue dedicate himself, to those in need.

也是菲律賓的報導，一位當地志工 安頓紐，在義診中心做志工，五年來沒有間斷，其實安頓紐一直有眼瞼內翻的問題，造成眼睛一直都不舒服，直到眼睛越來越痛，安頓紐才決定接受手術，志工給予的支持讓，安頓紐深受感動，並發願，恢復之後要持續付出自己的愛心。


3.實業家營人物 Overseas entrepreneur seminar

In Taiwan, an overseas entrepreneur, volunteer training seminar, was held at the Tzu Chi Guandu(關渡) Grounds. Leading the seminar was Weichuan(味全) Foods Corporation consultant, Lin Chaofu(林朝富) and senior Tzu Chi volunteer Wei Xingjuan(魏杏娟), both shared their experiences, on how Tzu Chi`s humanitarianism, has helped them in the business world.

在台灣 海外實業家營隊，今天早上 在關渡，有一場講座，由味全公司人文顧問 林朝富，以及資深慈濟志工魏杏娟，分享公司職場人文關懷。

4.梨山變形記(1)掀開地滑史 The changing face of Li Mt.

The area around Li(梨) Mountain in Central Taiwan, has long been famous for its fruit and tea cultivation. However, as the area has become over-developed, land sinkage and landsides are now becoming a serious problem. In the first of our reports on ”The Changing Faces Of Li(梨) Mountain”, we take a look at the problem of landslides, that are threatening the way of life in the area.

位在台灣中部的梨山，這裡有著名的梨山茶和溫帶蔬果，但數十年的過度開發下，造成土地濫墾，因為濫墾濫伐、土地濫用，造成當地面臨走山危機，在第一集的「梨山變形記」，我們探討梨山的地滑現象，如何威脅當地的生計。


5.齊心做環保+林口社區環保 Safeguard the planet

Recently, Taiwan Tzu Chi volunteers, held an event to raise recycling awareness within the community of Linkou(林口), New Taipei City. While in Hualien, over 100 Tzu Chi volunteers were mobilized, to assist with the large volume of recyclables, accumulated during the Chinese New Year, at the Hualien Recycling Station. Here`s more.

最近台灣的慈濟志工，在新北市的林口，舉辦環保宣導活動，而在花蓮 超過百位志工，協助花蓮，環保教育站的回收分類，一起來看看。


6.馬大愛人文廳 Da Ai Corner for students

In Malaysia`s Se-rem-ban, the head resident of the dormitory, at Chung Hua(中華) Port Dickson Middle School, Ke Aiji(柯藹笈), wanted to build a space modeled, after Jing Si Books and Cafe. Following his discussion with the school, Ke(柯) and other Tzu Chi volunteers, transformed a storage area in the dorm, into a ”Da Ai Corner”, where students could calm their mind and thoughts.

在馬來西亞芙蓉，波德申中華中學宿舍的舍監，柯藹笈希望讓校園，也有像靜思書軒一樣，靜謐的空間，在跟校方溝通後，就存放雜物的空間，打造成大愛人文廳，讓學子沉澱心靈及思考。


7.學子公演發表 Latest drama of Yabi Children Theater

In Taiwan`s Hualien, the Ya-bi Children Theater of Tzu Chi University, launched its latest performance, hoping to bring joy to children living in remote areas, and let them know the importance of environmentalism through this piece of work.

在台灣的花蓮，慈大組成的Yabi兒童劇團，推出最新戲劇，希望帶給偏鄉小朋友，看戲的樂趣，同時要讓小朋友，了解環境保護的重要性。

8.濕紙巾皮膚炎+濕紙巾宜少用 Wet wipes are dangerous?

What do you normally use to clean your hands or mouth after a meal? Did you know that, the extensive use of wet wipes, can cause skin allergies and even cancer? Today we will find out what wet wipes are made of, and what kind of dangers are hidden inside these wipes, that are often advertised, as one of the most convenient way, to keep germs away. Let`s take a look.

9.音樂照顧失智 Never too late to learn

In Taiwan`s Pintung(屏東), we meet nurse, Li Tengqiu(李騰秋), who has been a caregiver for dementia patients for 37 years. She successfully used music therapy, to help the elderly ease their symptoms of dementia, and at the age of 60, Li(李) decided to pursue further studies at graduate level, so she can used her knowledge, to help even more people.

在台灣的屏東，有一位護理師李騰秋，長期照顧失智老人，時間長達37年，她成功利用音樂療法，減緩老人失智的症狀，她六十歲時，決定重拾書本，就讀研究所，希望用所學造福更多人。


10.聽障丁肇藝 Never surrender

In our next report, we meet Ding Zhaoyi(丁肇藝), who is deaf and suffered from ambly-o-pia in her left eye, due to ru-bella. Though struck by obstacles through her path, of finding the perfect job, she never surrender and finally found a job as an administrative officer.
