1.義大利發放

In Italy, some residents who suffer from the devastating earthquake back in May has yet to recover. Some are still living in temporary tent shelters; as the temperature drops, Tzu Chi volunteers held two aid distributions, in Bondeno and Fi-na-le E-milia.

義大利，今年五月下旬，接連發生強震，到現在都還未復原，還有許多民眾住在帳棚區，因為溫度持續下降，慈濟來到兩個地區舉辦發放棄。


2.美低收入戶發放

In the United States, US Tzu Chi Headquarters recently held a winter aid distribution to help low income families. The distribution, held on December 17, took place in San Francisco, California. Volunteers also took the chance to introduce bamboo coin banks to residents and encouraged them to adopt a coin bank as a way to complete the cycle of love.

美國慈濟總會，在歲末年終展開一年一度的冬令發放活動，12月17日的發放在舊金山舉行，同時也介紹慈濟的竹筒歲月，鼓勵大家領竹筒，完成善循環。


3.南美併+多耶誕關懷併+美加

As we celebrate Christmas today, Tzu Chi volunteers around the globe are bringing love and care to those who are either homeless or live in temporary shelters. In the US and Canada, volunteers are providing hot meals and winter aid supplies to the homeless and children at a local shelter. While in Central America, Dominican Republic volunteers handed out apples to children at the Tzu Chi La Romana School. But first, we join Tzu Chi volunteers in Argentina and Paraguay as they handed out Christmas gifts.

慶祝耶誕節的同時，全球慈濟志工則為無家可歸的人，帶來關愛與物資；在美國與加拿大，慈濟志工為街友和街童，帶來熱食與生活用品；在多明尼加，慈濟志工來到拉羅馬那慈濟學校，為孩子送上蘋果，但首先，我們跟著巴拉圭與阿根廷的志工，一起送出耶誕禮物。

4.喜出網外(五)成癮戒治

We have all heard of cases in which children have taken their own lives after their parents forbade them from playing online games. In order to help children and families before they reach this level of desperation, Jianan(嘉南) Mental Hospital in Yunlin(雲林) County is here to help.

我們都有聽過，學生因為家人禁止玩線上遊戲，而選擇自殺身亡，要怎麼幫助沉迷於虛擬世界的這些孩子和家庭呢？雲林的嘉南療養院，可以幫忙。


5.黃運昌關懷

Continuing in Taiwan, Huang Yunchang(黃運昌), a recycling volunteer from Taoyuan, was electrocuted in a tragic accident. Through out his time in the hospital, Tzu Chi volunteers continue to show love and care to Huang(黃). Upon waking up from the temporary coma, volunteers vow to continue to stand by his family through this difficult time.


也是台灣的報導，住在桃園台灣，環保志工黃運昌，不慎觸電發生意外，住院期間，慈濟志工不間斷的關懷，黃運昌終於醒來，志工也發願，會持續陪伴他的家人，跟他們一起度過難關。

The increase in human desires is the real cause behind conflicts and wars; thus, it is ever more important to purify human minds.

Spiritual cleansing is the best form of recycling, as little desires and contentment helps one change their way of life, which also means less urban development in our society.

因為人心欲望深重、國家相爭，所以更加需要淨化人心。心靈淨化是最徹底的環保，少欲知足，就能改變生活習慣，自然環境就不再受無盡的開發。
