1. 精舍師父彩排 Hualien`s Buddha Day preparation

In Taiwan, Tzu Chi will kick off its Buddha Day celebration in Taipei and Hualien(花蓮), in less than a week. Dharma masters from Hualien(花蓮)`s Jing Si Abode continued with their rehearsal, on Sunday and Monday, in spite of the weather, as they are determined, to share the dharma with more people through the ceremony.

在台灣，首先來看只剩下不到一個禮拜，慈濟在台灣的台北與花蓮就要慶祝佛誕節的到來，而星期天和星期一儘管下著雨，靜思精舍的法師仍加緊彩排，希望透過浴佛而與更多人分享法喜。


2. 中山獨老浴佛 Tri-celebration with Zhongshan seniors

Though Tzu Chi`s Buddha Day celebration is still several days away, in Taipei`s Zhongshan(中山) District, volunteers have already began the celebration, during their solitary seniors and senior home visits.

雖然距離佛誕節還有幾天的時間，不過台北中山區慈濟志工已經提前在拜訪獨居老人和老人養護中心時舉辦行動浴佛活動。


3. 成功浴佛發放 Buddha Day Ceremony in Taitung

Also in Taiwan, Taitung(台東) Tzu Chi volunteers, held a Buddha Day ceremony at Chenggong(成功) Town, which was joined by local residents and indigenous tribes. Although many members of the indigenous tribes are Catholic, under the volunteers` guidance, everyone overcame the religious differences, and happily joined the event.

在台灣，台東慈濟志工來到成功鎮舉辦浴佛，更有許多原住民朋友參與其中，雖然許多民住民朋友信奉天主教，但是在志工的帶領下，大家跨越宗教的藩籬，歡喜的參與浴佛。


4. 浴佛張順良 Zhang Shunliang`s life story

In our next report, we meet 55-year-old Tzu Chi volunteer Zhang Shunliang(張順良), who was addicted to gambling for over three decades, and was heavily in debt. It was his mother`s love and guidance, that eventually led him to Tzu Chi, and thus, turning over a new leaf in life.

在接下來的報導，我們來認識來自彰化五十五歲慈濟志工張順良，有過長達三十多年嗜賭如命的荒唐歲月，多次欠下大筆債務，是媽媽的不放棄和帶領讓他認識了慈濟才有如今重生的他。

5. 麻坡首次朝山 Pilgrimage testing volunteers

In celebration of Tzu Chi Foundation`s 47th anniversary, the Tzu Chi Mu-ar Branch in Malaysia, held a pilgrimage, for the first time. At the hour-long event, each participant overcame their own obstacles, to garner blessings for themselves and others.

慶祝慈濟47周年慶，馬來西亞慈濟麻坡支會首次舉辦精進朝山，一小時的活動中，每個民眾克服萬難以虔誠的心念、堅固道心。


6. 星浴佛邀約 Taking the streets for upcoming ceremony

With the Buddha Day celebrations fast approaching, at the end of April, volunteers from the Tzu Chi Singapore Chapter, have once again taken to the streets, to invite members of the public, to participate in the upcoming ceremony. As this year`s event, will include more complex movements than in previous years.

佛誕節的浴佛典禮即將到來，4月底新加坡分會再度走上街頭進行菩薩大招生，鼓勵大家來參加浴佛典禮，今年浴佛比往年更多走位，要排更多的圖案。


7. 時光機 - 援外挑戰 Challenges of humanitarian assistance

Today, 75 percent of countries worldwide receive humanitarian assistance. Foreign aid has helped many countries cope with the plight of war, natural disasters and famine. However, humanitarian assistance is actually a lesson in itself. Faced with religious barriers and cultural differences of each country, many hurdles need to be conquered - a process which entails great wisdom and understanding.

全世界目前大約有百分之七十五的國家接受人道救援，透過外來援助稍解戰爭天災和饑荒等困境，不過人道救援其實是門大學問，要在不同國度面對，宗教隔閡、文化差異有許多的困難要克服，過程中可是蘊含了大智慧。


8. 蘆山鄉親打包 Residents inspired to help

In China`s Sichuan(四川) Province, relief work being carried out by Tzu Chi, continues unabated in Lushan(盧山) County. The dedication that the volunteers have shown to this community,has inspired many residents, to join the volunteers in their efforts. Recently, many disaster survivors could be seen, helping Tzu Chi ready its aid packs, ahead of an upcoming distribution.

在四川雅安蘆山慈濟的關懷行動持續進行，慈濟志工付出心力在災區幫助受災民眾，因此激勵了許多受災民眾大大小小加入慈濟的行列，最近 許多民眾都會主動幫忙物資打包的工作。


9. 蘆山全面復課 School starts for students

Also in China, it has been more than two weeks, after the Yaan(雅安) earthquake in Sichuan(四川) Province, and prefab classrooms for all of the 26 schools in Lushan(蘆山) County, have been completed. Recently, students at the Lushan(蘆山) High School, had their first day of classes, in the new classrooms.

在中國，四川雅安地震已經過了半個月，今天雅安市蘆山縣內26所學校的板房教室已興建完成，其中蘆山中學的學生，回到學校展開第一堂課。
